Working week: 36-40 hours
Location: Arnhem, Netherlands (number of days remote possible)
Salary: €2800-€3800 (+ performance bonus)

 

Mission

As Head of Content at Sybotanica, your mission is to explosively grow our socials in reach & engagement. Your goal is to captivate and bind as many plant lovers as possible to Sybotanica, producing mainly short-form content from A to Z. You will make our potting soil sexy. 

 

Results

• Relevant KPIs are in place, evaluation and adjustment moments are observed
• A creative process to get content efficiently from idea to go live stands, where we upload 1-2 shorts per day. 
• There is a team of strong freelancers supporting production, as organic social grows we build out an in-house team 
• Strategy in consultation with me and then monitoring it
• After 6 months, we have a monthly reach of 500,000 across Instagram, TikTok & YT Shorts. 

Tasks

• A-Z responsibility over the content process, where you work closely with Sybren (Founder)
• Creative concepting & copywriting
• Maintaining community on socials
• Project management // managing freelancers
• After 3-9 months, also appear in the content, alone / with Sybren 

This is you

• 2+ years of work experience in content production, social growth & short-form content. 
• A creative mind with in-depth knowledge of the houseplant niche.
• You enjoy creating stories in video form & inform and enthuse an audience about houseplants
• High standards & results driven.
• High pace, it is important that we create a lot of content so we can find out faster what works and what doesn't. 
• Fluent English & Dutch

 

This would be nice, but not mandatory

• You already have a network of experienced freelancers
• Experience with physical print
• Experience with Adobe CC

What do you do as Head of Product Development at Sybotanica?

Together with me (Sybren, Founder) you are responsible for our product roadmap. Our goal is to make and keep as many plants healthy as possible through our soil & plant care products. From developing new product lines to improving our existing ones, you will be the leading force in the research & development of these products.

This is what you recognize in yourself

- A passion for product  development & a sustainable world. 
- A drive and will to take your skills to the next level. 
- A background in biology / horticulture / sustainability
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role

What do you do as a Head of Support at Sybotanica?

Answering customers with their questions about their orders & products. You will be(come) a subject expert on houseplant care and soil. You are flexible in schedule, and are able to take an angry customer to a "5 stars in a review is not enough" customer. Both email & phone support.

• Speaks fluent English & Dutch
• Have basic knowledge on houseplant care
• German & French are a plus

What do you do as Logistics Employee at Sybotanica?

Making sure orders (from small packages to large pallets) are fulfilled correctly and on time. Communication with production about stock levels, organizing the warehouse, process returns, small administrative tasks & inventory management.

- An efficiënt and accurate work ethic. 
- Someone who likes to think in systems and enjoys being physically active! You can maintain an overview, even under pressure and stressful circumstances. 
- We are looking for someone who is willing to grow with our startup, where the tasks may vary as our company grows.
- Forklift certificate is a plus!
